The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for parts of the area.
The Thunderstorm watch includes Obion, Lake and Dyer County in Northwest Tennessee, and Fulton, Hickman and Carlisle County in Western Kentucky.
The watch area will be in effect until 7:00 on Thursday night.
