The Dresden Lions will send several track and field athletes to the TSSAA State Tournament in Murfreesboro next week.
Bailey Warbington will compete in the Girls 800 Meter Run.
Vaughn Bounds will compete in the Boys 1600 Meter Run and 800 Meter Run.
Briley Smith will compete in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles.
Ellie poole, Brenley Little, Lily pash, Bailey Warbington, and alternates Caroline Stephenson and Tess Ogg will also compete in the Girls 4×800 Meter Relay.
The Lions are coached by Wendy and Todd Maxey.
Westview will send Alaina Uselton to compete in the Girls 3200 Meter Run and Jack Mantooth in the Boys 1600 and 3200 Meter Run. Jack currently has the fastest seed time in the state for the 3200 meter run.
Both teams will compete Tuesday at MTSU beginning at 4:00 pm.
