Director Wes Kennedy has announced a significant change to the schedule of Union City Schools.
Previously, Thursday, May 22, was scheduled to be a half-day and the final in-person day for Union City students.
School Communication Director Mike Hutchens says Thursday will now be reserved for make-up testing, re-testing, and credit recovery for students.
Some other students will be required to be at school by their building-level principal, who will announce any further changes.
Buses will not run on Thursday.
With the adjusted schedule, the final day of the school year for students will be Wednesday.
Parents or guardians with questions may call the school office where their student is enrolled.
