Hornbeak Mayor Betty Walley said she is disappointed that their community school is being closed.
Mayor Walley told Thunderbolt News she was concerned for the town, and the school parents, following the vote to close Black Oak Elementary.(AUDIO)

Regular classes for students will end at Black Oak on Thursday, but Summer school will be held.
The officials closing date for the Hornbeak school has been set for June 30th.
