Jackson police are still investigating two shooting incidents this past weekend.
On Saturday night, officers were called to Kate Campbell Park to a shooting that involved seven victims.
Six of those victims were treated and discharged from the hospital, while the seventh victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
On Sunday morning just before 4:00, officers were called to the 700 block of Old Hickory Boulevard.
At the scene, officers located a 39 year old male victim with gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, police responded to a second male victim with gunshot wounds in the 800 block of Old Hickory Boulevard.
This individual was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
