The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released a preliminary report following Monday’s fatal Greyhound bus crash.
The two vehicles involved were a 2013 Prevost Bus and a single-occupant 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.
Both vehicles collided at 6:20 p.m. on US 70 in Madison County, which caused the bus to travel off the road and come to a rest in a ditch.
The second vehicle rotated, caught fire and came to a stop on the shoulder of U.S. 70.
The two people killed in the crash have been identified as Glen Young Jr. from Colorado, a passenger of the bus, and John Davis from Tennessee, who was driving the Chevrolet Silverado. Neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
No charges have been filed.
