The Weakley County Commission approved Circuit Court Clerk Courtney McMinn’s request for a new juvenile court employee during their monthly meeting on Thursday.
The resolution had previously passed through Public Safety and Finance, Ways, and Means.
Commissioner Jack Vincent who voted had previously voted against the new employee explained his position.
Meanwhile, Commissioner James Washburn spoke in favor of the resolution
The resolution was approved with a vote of 15 to two and will go into effect.
