A major intersection project in Hickman has required local utility companies to relocate some of their lines.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will soon begin a project to widen the intersection of Highway 125 and 1099 By-Pass.
Hickman Electric System General Manager Adam Prehoda told Thunderbolt News about a scheduled outage that had his crews on duty until the early morning hours on Sunday.(AUDIO)

The General Manager said all of their scheduled work is not complete, and they will also be assisting Gibson Electric with utilities that overlap at the intersection.
The Transportation Department project is scheduled to begin this month in Hickman.
