Obion County Highway Department Superintendent Says He Needs Additional Employees

Obion County Highway Superintendent Kevin Dunn says additional manpower is needed in his department.

During budget hearings on Monday, the county asphalt plant became the main topic of conversation.

Dunn told Budget Committee members about the need for more employees to handle all duties in the county.(AUDIO)

The Highway Superintendent said the department goal is blacktop 15-to-30 miles of county roads each year.

Following discussions, Committee members voted unanimously to accept the Highway Department budget.
