Approximately 700 people came to tour the Stanley Black and Decker open house Saturday in recognition of the plant’s 40 years in Martin.
Formerly MTD, Stanley Black & Decker welcomed the community to see where families and friends work. Others came to see the manufacturing plant that has approximately 15-hundred employees that work in a state of-the-art factory.
Martin Mayor Randy Brundige and Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson made the tour and shared their thoughts about what Stanley Black and Decker means to the Ken Tenn area.
