
The Tennessee Department of Transportation, and Tennessee Highway Patrol, are preparing for this week’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
The annual festival, located of a 700 acre farm in Manchester, has turned into one of the most popular live music events in the country.
TDOT reports indicate over 65,000 people are expected to be in attendance from Thursday through Sunday.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are gearing up for excess traffic on I-24 in Coffee County, with the goal to provide safety in getting festival goers to and from the site.
TDOT has announced that HELP trucks will patrol the interstate and state routes, with festival attendees traveling in the right hand lane to allow other traffic to be unimpeded.
