The local area will have the chance this week to support the holiday season “Shop with a Cop” program.
The second annual “Battle of the Badges” softball game will take place at Elam Stadium on Saturday night.
This year the Union City Police Department will play the Union City Fire Department in the holiday fundraiser.
Gates will open at 5:00 for food, a dunking booth and other activities for kids, with the softball game starting at 6:30.
Admission is $5.00, with all funds used to shop with needy children during the Christmas season.
