Federal arrest warrants have been issued in connection with incidents in Obion County.

Western District United States Attorney Joseph C. Murphy Jr. said 39 year old Jose Inocencio Fraire Chavez is now wanted on three charges.

Chavez has been the subject of a search since May 2nd, after he was last seen in Union City with his seven-year-old non-custodial daughter Tah Yah Yona Chavez.

Attorney Murphy said Chavez is wanted on charges of being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, willful failure to comply with removal procedures in violation of Title 8, and flight to avoid prosecution.

The FBI, United States Marshals Service and United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement are working with the Union City Police Department and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to safely locate Chavez and the child.

Chavez and his daughter were last seen in Union City in a green 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck with Tennessee license plate number 433BPFB.

He was then issued charges of especially aggravated kidnapping and custodial interference.
