Obion County Budget Committee members recently heard the last budget presentation from Emergency Management Director Danny Jowers.
Jowers has announced his plans to retire from the position after over 16 years of service.
During the budget hearings, Director Jowers talked about new safety features that are now in place in the county.(AUDIO)

A new Emergency Management Director will take over in Obion County on July 1st, with Jowers assisting for a period of time with training.
