Union City police were informed about the possible theft of a firearm in the city.
Police reports said 28 year old Coby Hall, of Greenfield, told officers a .9-milimeter Tara pistol was taken from his wife’s vehicle.
Hall said he believed the gun was taken from the glove box, while the vehicle was on the parking lot next to Stillwater Salon on First Street.
Information about the firearm has been placed into the National Crime Information Center.
The value of the theft was listed at almost $400.
