Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Fulton County Emergency Management Director J.L. Atwill.
The 78 year old Atwill passed away Saturday at his home following a brief illness.
Along with serving as the Fulton County EMA Director, Atwill served as a deputy sheriff and was a 31 year member of the Army National Guard.
Funeral services will take place at 3:00 at West Hickman Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery.
