The Gleason Police Department is investigating the death of a three year old boy.
Gleason Police Chief Marcus Hopper said the child’s body has been sent to Nashville for an autopsy.
Shortly after police were called and the search was initiated, the child was found deceased near a home in Gleason.
A number of officers were on standby to assist in locating the child.
Chief Hopper is requesting privacy for the family.
