Residents in Obion County can now receive information concerning flood and storm damage assistance.
County Mayor Steve Carr told Thunderbolt News about the opening of a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Union City.(AUDIO)
Mayor Carr said local residents are urged to take advantage of the possible assistance that will be available.(AUDIO)
The Mayor said he was grateful that Obion County was awarded the federal Disaster Declaration to assist those affected by the storms and flooding.(AUDIO)
Officials with the Small Business Administration will also be at the Obion County Public Library as part of the Recovery Center.
Assistance opportunities will provided in Obion County until July 9th.
