Event to Read Entire Bible at White Squirrel Festival in Kenton

The White Squirrel Festival in Kenton will begin today, with a special event on the schedule all week.

Amy Merrick, a teacher and coach at Gibson County High School and member of the Kenton Church of God, told Thunderbolt News about the daily reading of the Bible.(AUDIO)

 

Ms. Merrick explained the idea and purpose of reading the Bible during the festival.(AUDIO)

 

According to the King James Version of the Bible, the 66 books have a total of 31,102 verses.

To cover the entire Bible, Ms. Merrick said openings are available for readers.(AUDIO)

 

The daily reading of The Bible at the White Squirrel Festival will take place at the City Park Gazebo.
