Sharon City Board Approved Its Budget Yesterday

Sharon Mayor Donna Stricklin is considering resigning from her position as Mayor and returning to her position as city recorder.

 

 

Meanwhile at the City of Sharon board meeting last night, the aldermen along with Mayor Donna Stricklin, approved the 2025-26 budget.

 

The board accepted a tax increase of 5%, bringing the new tax rate to $1.37, resulting in $10,000 increase for the city.  Mayor Stricklin explains how proactive this decision is for Sharon.

 

 

The board also explained Sharon’s lack of debt has been a trend for years now and something to be proud of.
