Large Drug Bust in Obion County; One Person Wanted

Law enforcement authorities are seeking one person following a large drug bust last Thursday in South Fulton.

Obion County Sheriff’s Office reports said a search warrant was executed by the Sheriff’s Office, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security from Jackson, and South Fulton Police Department.

The Obion County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team secured the South Fulton residence belonging to 34 year old Tyler Demond Armstrong.

During the search, approximately eight-pounds of methamphetamine, one-and-a-quarter pounds of marijuana, 14 ounces of cocaine, 24 ounces of Promethazine, and $21,315 in cash was seized.

Sheriff’s Office reports said Armstrong is currently wanted on felony warrants including two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule II drugs, Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule IV drugs, and Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule VI drugs.
