Yesterday, The Union City Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 3012 West Main Street with dark black smoke seen from Everett Blvd.
The fire was quickly extinguished and did moderate damage to the interior of the building.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
On investigation, the fire was determined to be arson,
Union City Police located a suspect and made an arrest.
