
Weakley County School system posted their school dress code for the upcoming school year to their Facebook page.
Updates to their dress code include, yoga pants, leggings, are pajama pants are not permitted.
Form-fitting clothing may only be worn if covered by a top, dress, or skirt that extends to the top of the knee.
Shirts with buttons can have the top button unbuttoned.
Turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts may only be worn as an undergarment and must be a solid color.
Pants are to have no more than two side pockets and two back pockets. Cargo pants are not considered acceptable attire.
Shorts, are to touch the top of the knee when standing, and must be solid color. Wind pants, athletic shorts, or other leisure/sports attire are to be reserved for after school events/team travel.
Skirts shall be solid in color and hemlines must touch the top of the knee or longer.
Students transferring into the Weakley County Schools system will be allowed up to two weeks to acclimate to the standardized dress code policy.
