Jackson police have identified the individual killed in a shooting last Friday night.
Police reports said 18 year old Ja’Carreon Jermaine Williams was killed in the shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Campbell Street.
Officers were called just before 10:30 to shots being fired.
Police say the shooting death is considered a homicide and an active investigation is ongoing.
