Sharon Mayor Donna Stricklin has stepped down from her position Monday night at the Sharon City Board meeting.
Mayor Stricklin will reclaim her position as City Recorder, while former Mayor Monroe Ary will retake his previous position.
Mayor Ary will hold the Mayors position until November 2026, when the election comes around.
Meanwhile Ms. Stricklin has been acting recorder and Mayor over the last several months.
Stricklin was previously the city recorder of Rutherford.
