The 22 year old who live streamed a day long shooting spree in 2022 in Memphis, has received a new trial date.

During a court hearing in Memphis yesterday, Ezekiel Kelly received a February 9th trial date by a Shelby County judge.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty to more than two dozen charges, including commission of an act of terrorism, and three counts of first-degree murder in the shooting rampage that led to a citywide shelter-in-place order.

A motive for the shootings was not clear.

Prosecutors say they plan to seek the death penalty if he’s convicted of first-degree murder.
