A Union City man reported a missing firearm.
Police reports said officers were dispatched to South Miles Avenue to speak with 22 year old Oscar Solomon.
At the scene, Solomon told police he normally locks his vehicle and leaves his Glock 19 handgun in the console.
Solomon said he noticed approximately two weeks ago that the firearm was missing.
After searching for the gun with no results, reports said he wanted to report it as stolen.
Police entered the Glock 19 into the National Crime Information Center.
The value of the firearm was placed at $613.
