Memphis native and popular rapper, GloRilla was arrested this week on drug charges in Georgia. A day before she is set to headline a show at FedEx Forum in Memphis.
The investigation began Saturday, when Forsyth County deputies responded to a burglary in progress at her Atlanta home, where someone inside shot at the burglars.
While on scene, deputies detected a strong odor consistent with illegal narcotics.
They obtained a search warrant and allegedly found a considerable amount of marijuana inside a bedroom closet.
GloRilla turned herself in and was booked Tuesday into the Forsyth County jail on charges of felony possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
