Community members in Obion County are urged to gather for the Pray-4-Tennessee event on Friday.
Attendees can come to the Obion County Courthouse at 11:00, where County Mayor Steve Carr will read Tennessee House Resolution 51.
The Resolution signed by Governor Bill Lee calls for a time of prayer and fasting in the state thru July 31st.
Mayor Carr, along with invited guests, will offer prayers of peace, hope, love and kindness for businesses, places of worship, classrooms, government and homes.
Prayer-4-Tennessee events will also be held Friday at noon at First Baptist Church in Dresden, and at 2:00 at 102 North College Street in Trenton.
