The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance for citizens of Obion, Dyer and McNairy counties is August 19th.
The money is available to help with rent or temporary housing costs like hotel fees and uninsured personal property losses from storm damage in April.
Other disaster-related expenses include: Replacement or repair of clothing, textbooks, school supplies, primary vehicles, furniture and appliances a renter owns.
