Shoppers in Tennessee will be receiving savings this weekend as part of a Back-to-School initiative.
“Tax Free Weekend” is now underway until midnight on Sunday.
The annual sales tax holiday allows Tennessee shoppers to save nearly ten-percent on qualifying clothing, school supplies and computers.
During the three day period, tax-free shopping will take place for clothing and school supplies priced at $100 or less, along with computers priced at $1,500 or less.
Governor Bill Lee said he encourages all families to take advantage of the back-to-school savings, thanks to the partnership with the state General Assembly.
