A team with a history of dominance on the gridiron, the Milan Bulldogs will look to once again dominate West Tennessee football

Second year head coach of the Bulldogs Wade Comer says he’s anxious for how his team will shape up.

 

In Comers first season at the helm, Milan made a trip to the state championship game for AA losing to Marion County 17-7.

 

Winning the third ever Mr. Football award for Milan and propelling his team, running back Jaydon Peete is back for his senior season in Purple and Gray

 

Peete rushed for 2300 and 32 Touchdowns last season and recently committed to UT-Martin over other schools such as Austin Peay or North Alabama.

Comer coached at McKenzie amassing a 209-90 record in 23 years there before leaving Carroll for Gibson County. He is no stranger to building a culture within his program.

 

The Bulldogs region gains two school with impressive previous seasons with Union City and Halls moving to region 7AA.

 

Milan has a history of success with four championships and seven championship game appearances.

 

The Bulldogs will have three scrimmages before opening the season. August 1st against TCA, August 8th versus Dyersburg, and August 15th at the Henry County Jamboree against Henry County.

Milan’s first game of the season will be on August 22nd at home versus Jackson South Side.
