The Fulton County School System will be under new guidance this year.
Longtime teacher, counselor and principal Ellen Murphy was selected as the new Superintendent following the retirement of Patrice Chambers.
Mrs. Murphy used many adjectives in describing her opportunity to attain the school systems highest position.(AUDIO)
Entering her 26th year in education, Mrs. Murphy said she was proud to be part of the Fulton County system.(AUDIO)
After a five year teaching stint in the Lake County School System, Mrs. Murphy served in various positions at Fulton County including the past 11 years as high school principal.
