Buses have started running as students returned to classes Monday in the Union City School System.
With the beginning of school, Union City Police Chief Ben Yates was asked about the role of his officers.(AUDIO)
Due to safety reasons, Chief Yates said there will be a “no tolerance policy” for motorists disobeying traffic laws on Miles Avenue.(AUDIO)
Motorists are urged to watch for stopping and starting buses city wide, both mornings and afternoons.
Those traveling in areas around the school system are also urged to pay attention, as many students walk back and forth to classes each day.
