Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Union City Police Department Recognized at Law Enforcement Challenge

Obion County law enforcement officers were recently recognized in the State of Tennessee.

The law enforcement departments of the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, and Union City Police Department, were honored during the 21st annual Law Enforcement Challenge.

The Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Union City Police Department each received second place honors in the 26-to-45 officer category.

Results of the Law Enforcement Challenge are determined by agencies submitting various traffic safety trainings, enforcement efforts, public outreach, and education events in their jurisdiction during the fiscal year.

The awards were presented at the Tennessee Highway Safety Office Lifesaver’s Conference in Nashville.
