Union City had three golfers to post scores in the 30’s in a strong outing against Dyer County at The Farms on Tuesday.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said Paul Martin Tohn carded a 35 to lead a trio of Tornado players in the nine-hole match.
Brody Riley shot 36 and Gavin McGuire posted a 38 for Union City, which finished with a 155 team total to Dyer County’s 144.
Coop Frankum and Stephen Herrell each ended up with 46 to round out the Tornadoes scoring.
Garrison Bunch shot 50, and Jake Lattus registered a 52 in jayvee play.
The Union City girls came in with a 115 to trail Dyer County’s 85.
Stella Turner finished with a 57, and Annie Beth Cruce shot 58.
Union City will play Dresden at Sharon on Thursday in a match added late to the schedule.
