The Obion County Fair gets underway tonight at the fairgrounds in Union City.
At 6:00, the Midway carnival will open, followed at 7:00 with a Junk Car Race.
On Saturday, the Purebred Sheep Show will start at 2:30, with eight pageants to be held from 4:00 until 8:00 on the Main Stage.
At 7:00, horses and riders will be in the Outdoor Arena for Barrel Racing and Pole Racing, with Warren Rich Montgomery and Derailed in concert at the Whitney Cozart Pavilion.
The nightly drawing for $1,000 will take place at 9:00.
