Wal-Mart holds Grand Rebranding Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Crowds showed up in large numbers for yesterday morning’s ribbon cutting ceremony for the rebranding of Martin’s Wal-Mart.

Store Manager Scotty Simmons and Wal-Mart Associates were recognized by Martin Mayor Randy Brundige and the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce on almost 50 years in Martin.

 

 

Mr. Simmons goes on to tell us about the changes made to the Martin location.

 

 

Wal-Mart presented several checks to non profits including $1,000 to the Humane Society for Obion and Weakley Counties, $4,000 to the Soybean Festival, $2,000 to the Charger Foundation and $3,000 We Care Ministries.

The ribbon cutting concluded with the Wal-Mart chant.
