The Obion County Fair inducted a longtime board member, and dedicated pageant coordinator, into their Hall of Fame on Monday night.
During Opening Ceremonies, with family and friends in attendance, the late Tammy Sparks was announced as the recipient of this year’s honor.
An emotional induction came from her friend and fellow pageant coordinator, Sharon Regen.(AUDIO)
Along with her community service to the Obion County Fair, Mrs. Sparks was an almost 40 year employee of the Union City School System, and a co-executive director of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer pageant.
On hand Monday night to accept the Hall of Fame plaque was Art Sparks, Emily Anne Sparks, Josh and Jeni Beth Vincent and Allie Vincent.
