The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has identified the four individuals caught on security cameras at the Reelfoot Lake spillway.

The four individuals were caught on camera around 11:00 last Sunday night, with TWRA staff notifying that a spillway gate was open and discharging lake water around 8:00 on Monday morning.

TWRA Col. Dale Grandstaff said the names of the individuals will not be released pending further investigation.

Col. Grandstaff offered thanks for the numerous tips from the public leading to the identification, with the TWRA to now work with the District Attorney’s office and Agency partners to finalize the investigation.

Surveillance video for the property revealed the group of four males entered the area through the rear gate.

While inside the compound, they accessed the manual override switch for the spillway gate opening operation, with one spillway gate opened to full capacity.
