A dominant performance on both ends of the pitch yielded another victory for the Westview Lady Chargers Thursday evening at the Martin Soccer Complex.  The Lady Chargers shut out Crockett County, 9-0 to remain unbeaten.
Hayden Markowski started the scoring notching a goal 10 minutes into the contest.  Ashlee Brent’s cross to Harper Jones made the score 2-0 before Brent added a goal of her own, firing a top shelf bullet from 26 yards out just two minutes later.  Westview would score two more, and Crockett County allowed an own goal before the break to make it 5-0.
Westview would score four more in the first 19 minutes of the second half to end the game with a final of 9-0.
Due to stellar defense, a staple of the Lady Charger soccer program the past four seasons, the Lady Cavaliers failed to take a shot, only entering the 18 yard box one time in the match.
Markowski (10′), Jones (26′), Brent (28′,59′), Chanler Spendlove (35′,42′), Maddie Horton (46′) and Sophie Bolin (59′) all scored for the Lady Chargers.
Westview will head to the University School of Jackson on Tuesday at 6:00 pm to face the fifth ranked team in West Tennessee, before heading to Gatlinburg to compete in the Smoky Mountain Cup next weekend.
