The Union City Parks and Recreation Department is needing public assistance at Eastview Cemetery.
The annual Fall cleaning has started at the cemetery, with families now asked to remove or securely attach any flowers, vases or other personal items at the grave markers or monuments.
The removal or attachment to the markers or monuments is requested before September 21st.
Following this date, maintenance crews will remove any items that hinder the proper upkeep of the cemetery grounds, as a respectful and well-kept resting place for loved ones.
