Construction is winding down on a new cell phone tower in Obion County.

Mayor Lewis said the tower selection site brings needed benefits to Woodland Mills and the county.(AUDIO)
Work at the site adjacent to the city maintenance building started in July, with the tower now fully constructed.
With some work still ongoing, Mayor Lewis said he has not been given a specific date as to when the tower will be operational for local customers.
