Area runners and walkers will converge to Discovery Park of America on Saturday morning.
The annual Discovery Park Discovery Dash will take place, which includes a 5K and 10K run, along with a one mile fun run or walk.
Runners and walkers will use a trail through the 50-acre heritage park, with sites that include a 120 year old church, a vintage train station, waterfalls and bridges.
Awards will be presented in the 5K and 10K runs for both males and females.
The awards will be handed out in eight age categories, starting with 12-and-under and ending with 70-and-over.
Registration takes place Saturday morning from 6:30 until 7:45, with the 10K run starting at 8:00.
The 5K run will follow at 8:30, and the one mile run or walk begins at 9:00.
Award presentations will start at 9:30.
