The Hickman Police Department has announced the discovery of human remains.
Sunday, the department was notified of the discovery, with an investigation in collaboration with the Fulton County Coroner’s Office determining the identification as being human.
An investigation by the Coroner’s Office is underway, with authorities working to gather evidence to identify the person.
Forensic experts will also be conducting examinations to determine the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
Hickman police are urging anyone with any information to contact their office, or their nearest law enforcement agency.
