
A Greenfield man will spend up to 30 years in prison for second degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
Thirty five-year-old William Taylor McNeal pleaded guilty in Weakley County Circuit Court to the January 2024 killing of Krista Davis.
Ms. Davis’ body was found with sword and gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
McNeal fled the scene and was arrested by Jackson Police while trying to purchase a plane ticket.
McNeal was sentenced to 25 years for second degree murder and five years for abuse of a corpse, and will serve his time at the Tennessee Department of Corrections.
