Deer and turkey hunters can head to the woods this week in Tennessee.
The archery-only deer season and Fall turkey season will open on Saturday.
Both the deer archery season and turkey season will run from September 27th thru October 24th, followed by a second segment from October 27th thru November 7th.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said turkey season will not be open in eleven counties, that includes Lake, Dyer and Crockett.
