A large crowd was in attendance in the auditorium last night at First Baptist Church in Union City. Christians came to hear speakers and to pray in Christian love for our country and children.
Among speakers were Obion County Mayor Steve Carr, Pastor Ben Lownsdale, State Representative Chris Hurt, Pastor Robin Rogers, student Jackson Doss, John McMahan and Janice Valle (valley.)
Speakers strongly emphasized the need for reading the Bible and teaching children to love and not to hate.
The case for Christian love came on the hills of the assassination of Turning Point Leader Charlie Kirk who was killed on a Utah Campus September 10th
Tonight another Charlie Kirk vigil will be take place on the lawn of the Weakley County Courthouse at 7 this evening.
