
A corrections officer at the Obion County Jail has been recognized for outstanding service.
Corrections Lieutenant Jamie Spruill was honored with the Category 2 “Correctional Officer of the Year Award” at the Tennessee Corrections Institute Conference.
Category 2 is for counties holding a population of 70,000 and below.
The award recognizes outstanding leadership, dedication to service, and consistent professionalism in the workplace.
Obion County Sheriff Karl Jackson said Lt. Spruill’s outstanding service is characterized by her ability to foster team cohesion, maintaining rigorous professional standards, and consistently delivering results that exceed expectations.
The Sheriff said the professionalism and operational excellence of Lt. Spruill has established her as a respected mentor and role model within their organization.
