
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has added 27 new Troopers to their ranks.
Ceremonies were held Tuesday in Nashville to recognize Trooper Cadet Class 925, with members completing a rigorous 17-week training.
Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Jeff Long, along with Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Matt Perry, were on hand for the swearing in of the newest officers.
The graduating class included 20 years of combined military service, four associate’s degrees, 13 bachelor’s degrees and one masters degree.
